After about a year of looking through tons of rottweiler breeders and not finding one that bred what I really like to see in a rottweiler I was just about to give up when I was recommended vom Waldbach rottweilers. Since theres no web site for the past few months Ive been looking through everything I could find on Google about his dogs and from what Ive seen Chuck looks like hes producing what in my mind the ideal rottweiler should look/act like. But now I would love to hear about any experiences you've had with any Waldbach rottweilers or even with Chuck himself. Oh and if you have pictures and could be specific in what you like/dont like about his dogs that would be great :D

Heres just a little background on me:
This will be my first rottweiler from a breeder, actually this will be my first dog from a breeder period. My main goals for this dog is going to be competing in schutzhund and agility and I would also like to dabble in a little showing. This dog will be my first schutzhund and show dog but my second agility dog.

Just got in from watching some wonderful fireworks and am soooo ready for bed, but thought I would give you a quick reply.
One of the most important things to do is to talk with Chuck. He's on this board. The two of you can decide if one of his dogs is right for you. His dogs have a LOT of drive and that is not for everyone. Please don't make a mistake I see often and that is mistaking energy for drive. They are not the same.

He's a great guy and produces some very nice dogs. Chuck has a high degree of integrity and honesty. Don't let the lack of a website dismay you. IMO, great breeders do not need them and Chuck falls in to that category.

If you haven't already done so, search my posts and you'll see pictures. Go under my profile and choose 'search user's posts'. If you like, send me a private message containing your email and I will send you more pictures. Is there anything in particular you are looking for? I have hundreds of photos and by knowing what you want, I could send you pics that you are most interested in.

Thank you for the info :)

I already have a email a little over half way done that goes in depths about my lifestyle, dog experience and what Im really looking for in my new puppy. I just wanted to get a little more info on what his dogs are really like so I dont end up wasting his time if I dont think I would be able to handle one of his pups.

And I looked through your post. Haila is absolutely beautiful and has some great achievements under her belt :D

I remember a friend who had a puppy from Chuck many years ago, maybe in 1999 or 2001. This was a person involved in showing, and something came up. Chuck met him at a Protection competition I was decoying at in Maryland to pick up the pup and refunded this person. The dog was healthy to be clear about it. That was impressive as I had not seen at that time many respond as quickly and without any issue to make everything right for the dog and this person.

Chuck is top notch. One of the absolute best in the breed.

I have a Vom Waldbach dog....Freda vom Waldbach, Sch III....she is everything I could want in a working dog. Chuck is a responsible breeder and will deal with you honestly.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chuck at the 2010 USRC National SchH Championship. It was a pleasure conversing with (and competing against) him. I think it speaks volumes that he is consistently competing with his dogs of his breeding. Also, there are several vom Walbach dogs achieving advanced titles all over the country. You have a very high likelihood of getting a very good working prospect from his kennel.

Wow lots of nice things about Chuck, thats good =) Ive already contacted Chuck and I hope to make a trip down to Virginia some time this summer to meet him and his dogs in person.

Ive heard lots of things about the versatility of his lines. I know Crys vom Waldbach has quite a few titles on her in different areas. I also know his dogs do well in sieger show but has anybody ever seen or taken one into the AKC conformation ring?

I don't know about the AKC ring but I know a couple bitches of his breeding have gotten regional and national siegerin titles. One of the males from his F litter has been rather successful in the German style conformation shows.

I haven't kept track of all his dogs, so there very well may be several more that have done well in the conformation ring.

Chuck is one of the best breeders in the US at this time. His dogs have proven themselves on the Schutzhund field and in the conformation ring. I don't know about any successes in the AKC venue, but with tails, that's a controversial subject. Most AKC judges won't put up tailed Rottweilers. You have to decide which is more important to you, a well bred working dog, or an AKC show dog. Best of luck!

Chuck Wilson is hands down the best I have dealt with. I bought a pup from him Heir-Rommel and he is the best rottweiler I have ever owned. I wish i had more time to devote to training him cause he would win if i showed him.
Chuck was really good about helping us choose the best dog for our family. I love looking at all the accomplishments my pups mother and sister have done and seeing his other siblings.
In a nutshell your not going to find a better dog and breeder then Chuck and his dogs.
