Hi everyone!

I just want to announce that the NCRK show will be a one-day event only:

Saturday, May 8, 2010

Entries close on April 24th and our limit for May 8 will be 70 dogs. The order of judging will remain the same as listed in the original premium and we plan on having a demo ZTP during lunch. CGC evaluations will still be offered at the conclusion of judging on Saturday and a sign up will be available at check-in.

We will have a professional photographer available Saturday – I will double check email addresses during check-in to make sure people can receive their proofs via email.

For anyone planning on attending the judge’s dinner that information is still the same.

We look forward to seeing many of you next month! If you have any questions I am available by telephone (860-803-0136) or email (n_rochte@yahoo.com)

Thank you for your support!

Hi everyone,

I’ve gotten a few phone calls and emails from people concerned that their entries are not going to make it to me before tomorrow. I completely understand that the busy show season is underway and some people are just coming home from PA and getting ready to leave for TN. In an effort to accommodate people who have spent the past couple weeks on the road to various events I have decided to extend the deadline.

Our new deadline is:

Friday, April 30

All entries must be received, not postmarked, by April 30. Hopefully the extra week helps :D

If anyone has any questions my telephone number is 860-803-0136 and my email is n_rochte@yahoo.com

See you soon!

A thank you to USRC for the premium template would have been nice. http://usrconline.org/forms/premium_template.doc

My apologies. Bogdan was kind enough to help me out by allowing me to use an old Rottweiler Club of Connecticut premium and also the show catalog as a template. This is our first show and I was at a loss of where to start.

While I graciously thanked him for helping me out, I apologize if I offended you by not also publically thanking you.

All the members of NERF have also been very helpful in providing me information on where to purchase awards. While I have privately thanked them through email I will also take this opportunity to thank them on this forum. I appreciate all the support we have received so far.

Just wanted to say a big Thank You to Natalie and all of the NCRK members for putting on a great show. It was rainy and windy off and on throughout the day but the Judging was great (I enjoyed Judge Josef Hedl's openness in his interactions with the spectators) and there was a great crowd of people in attendance. Congrats to all the winners.

Thank you for the compliments Dave! Congratulations on your V rating with Kingston this weekend :D

I want to start by thanking everyone who came out on Saturday to support our new Club. It was an honor to have Josef Hedl as our judge and I certainly hope he will accept an invitation to judge at one of our events in the future. Mr. Hedl was fair, thorough, and consistent in all of his critiques and he made sure the crowd understood why he gave out each placing. He encouraged questions from spectators and handlers, and at dinner Mr. Hedl was more than happy to volunteer his wealth of first hand knowledge about historic dogs that most of us have only read about.

Everyone that came out to the show showed excellent sportsmanship and were willing to help out people entering the ring for the first time. Despite the occasional downpour I saw lots of smiling faces and teamwork. Thank you to everyone who came early to help set-up and who stayed late to help put everything away.

I hope everyone that came to our show enjoyed themselves. We hope we achieved our goal of putting on an honest show that people will want to come back to year after year.

Congratulations to all of our winners this weekend!! I should have the pictures from our show later this week. If anyone would like pictures please send me an email with your dog’s name and number so I can email them to you. For anyone who was unable to pick up their critique on Saturday you can expect them in the mail later this week. I hope to make it to the post office by tomorrow morning….

Congratulations again to all of our winners! I just received some of the pictures from the show. Unfortunately I just started my new semester of Nursing school on Monday (after the show) and got swamped with a 4 page paper due next Tuesday, 6 chapters to read before next week, and a test on next Tuesday......

I want to say up front that I'm sorry I'm not going to have time to go through all 300+ pictures and send out individual emails. This was my original plan, but it's just not feasible right now. Please accept my apologies :(

The intention was always to offer the pictures free of charge so I am posting two links below for people to view various slide shows. You shouldn't have any problem printing off the pictures you want. There are still MORE pictures coming and I will post those links as soon as they become available to me.
